Join local comics to fight homelessness in the community

Experience a night of laughter while helping two amazing local charities at the same time this Saturday as Rx Comedy raises funds for Helping Hands of Springfield and the Animal Protective League. Featured comedians Larry Smith, Richard Bailey, Clay Foley and Dr. Maurice Shaw will be doing their best to fight homelessness in both humans and animals through the power of humor. Tickets are $25 and are available on eventbrite.com. All money raised will be split between Helping Hands and the APL. A cash bar also will be available. Visit each organization's website for donation information and visit the APL's Facebook page for more event information.
