A surprise for your service

Secretary of 33 years receives special gift as she retires

Doris Teyshak with her new Toyota Camry, a retirement gift for her 33 years of service.

Teyshak says her mind went blank when she realized what was happening.

“It was a jewelry box, so I assumed it was some form of jewelry,” she said while sitting behind the wheel of her new car. “It’s still a total surprise. It’s a very nice gift.”

Wolter says Teyshak has excellent attention to detail and never even took breaks. She so aptly kept up with changes in the legal world that attorneys from other firms would call to get updates from her, Wolter says.

Wolter had been planning the gift for several months, and just in case Teyshak didn’t like that particular car, Wolter arranged for her to be able to trade it in at the dealership for another.

Teyshak says she plans to spend her retirement traveling and returning to work for Wolter, but she’ll be only part-time now.
