Up from the Lone Star State, San Antonio brothers Kyle and Keegan bring a mashup of Americana, blues and Southern rock styles into a mixture that is all Reed Brothers, all the time. They hit Tallula (located on Route 123 between Ashland and Petersburg) after a stop in Kansas City, Missouri, at the esteemed Knuckleheads music club and shows at premiere venues with the Randy Rogers Band in Lawrence, Kansas, and Fayetteville, Arkansas, while all the while working toward the goal of getting out their sound to their folks. While maybe not knowing exactly which label to put the Reed Brothers’ music within the “Americana” umbrella, everyone agrees that this band is the real thing, playing music with energy, heart and soul, tossing it all on the table every time at each performance and sharing the power of performance to all in range. Keep listening and you’ll hear more and more from this team of music-making brothers.
