Wandering is a possible symptom of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias experienced by many senior citizens. Learn about the triggers behind and how to help prevent senior wandering on Tuesday, April 18, during a seminar hosted by Home Instead Senior Care and Mill Creek Memory Care Facility in Springfield. The free program will highlight reasons why individuals with Alzheimer’s or dementia may wander along with potential signs and triggers for wandering. The seminar will also help attendees learn how to best prepare their loved one’s home in the event that they may wander and what to do if your loved one goes missing. Although the seminar is free to the community, attendees are asked to RSVP by calling 547-1300 or emailing [email protected].
