After a wonderful, fulfilling life, Judith Lee Adams (Rollet, Bressan), passed away at the age of 84 on Aug. 21, 2026. She was born to Gladys May Brandenburg-Bressan and Olindo Anthony Bressan in Springfield, Illinois, on Dec. 18, 1941.
She married George J. Rollet on June 10, 1961, and he predeceased on Sept. 8, 1977. A son, James J. Rollet, also predeceased her on Feb. 28, 2024.
She is survived by her husband, Louie L. Adams, whom she married on Jan. 11, 1980. She is also survived by her children, Jeanine M. Schlecht (Dale), Elisabeth Adams, Aletha Jerome (Robert), Ronald C. Rollet (Kimberly) and Jonathan L. Adams, all of Springfield, Illinois. She has 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Lee Bressan (Charlene) of Pleasant Plains, Illinois, and Ray Bressan of Tucson, Arizona, and one niece and two nephews. Last, but never least, she is survived by her best friend, Carol Ann Kirby, of Springfield.
Judy, as she is known to all that loved her, worked as an Illinois Bell Telephone Co. operator prior to being married and then becoming a housewife. She worked tirelessly at raising her children, blending two families into one, and providing advice to all of her children that ensured they were able to raise their own children the way she had raised hers. Judy served as an elder in the Farmingdale Presbyterian Church and had been a longtime Sunday School teacher and youth group leader for Farmingdale Presbyterian Church. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Visitation will be held at Farmingdale Presbyterian Church on Sept. 12, 2026, at 10 a.m. followed by services at 11 a.m.
