Black History Hike

This program focuses on African American history in Springfield through the lives of those buried in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Some of the graves are in Block 5, originally the “colored” section. Hot chocolate will be available at the end. Involves walking up and down hills, using stairs, and crossing uneven and unpaved surfaces; good shoes are recommended. May be cancelled in the event of inclement weather. Reservations are required.
