Art History Happy Hour

Marianne Stremsterfer will present a retrospective of his early work, along with his most recent pastel paintings created in the year before George passed away. George's niece, Yvonne Brandis, will share additional stories about his early years as a growing artist. Rod Buffington, a long-time friend of George and his wife Winnie, will also speak about how Colin gained notoriety as a successful artist by creating his own style. We encourage the audience members to bring a photo or an actual piece of Colin's work and share their personal stories.
