Dad was one of a kind. He was able to fix anything. And when I say anything, I do mean anything. He had this ability to look at something and he would figure out a way to fix it. It may take him a while, but he usually always found a way. I believe that is one of the reasons his customers were loyal and returned to him time and time again. He owned and operated Stults Mechanical Service where he worked on large equipment. He was the best mechanic in town, but not the best businessman. He didn’t have the heart to charge his customers if they needed a small part, or if they just stopped by to have him “look at something.” Which meant he fixed whatever it was for them, at no charge of course! I can’t even begin to count the “free” oil changes he did for me. Dad, I will always be extremely thankful for your knowledge you passed on to my boys. Unfortunately, we lost him this year, and it has left a huge hole in our family. He loved us big, especially his grandsons. We love you big, too, Dad!
