I met the love of my life in 1964, and we married on June 18, 1966. We were blessed with 59 wonderful years together, and I will always be grateful for the beautiful celebration we shared on our 59th anniversary. God gave us two amazing children, and later in life, we reunited with our third child, Becky, whom we also loved dearly. Our six loving grandchildren and four precious great-grandchildren have brought us endless joy. We could not have asked for a better daughter-in-law or son-in-law; they have been true blessings.
We were surrounded by a loving family and cherished friends who enriched our lives in more ways than they know. We shared countless holidays, trips, and memories, truly the best anyone could hope for. He loved each of you deeply.
There could not have been a kinder, more giving, or more selfless man. We are all better for having been loved by him. He never spoke an unkind word, even when I may have deserved one. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for God, his family, or his friends.
If anyone deserves a straight path into the arms of God, it is him.
