How lucky it is to be young and in a band! Young Luck began in mid-November of 2012 when Fedor and the Power Trio morphed into a kicking band blowing down the road like a rock ’n’ roll freight train. When Zack Fedor (lead vocals, guitar, harmonica), Tyler Landess (lead guitar, vocals), Ryan Hendrickson (bass, vocals) and Joel Day (drums, vocals) came together as a foursome the power increased exponentially. The more they played together, the more they joined together in songwriting, performance and spirit. They started out just looking for a good time, and you’ll sure sense that, but when realizing their potential, the goals got serious. This Saturday announces the release of Springfield City Limits recorded at FreQuincy Records, written and performed by the boys in the band. You can hear modern rock edges joining ’60s sensibilities, all tied up neatly with a strong sense of what rock ’n’ roll is and what it can do.
