Deep Lunar Blue

Original and classic rock jam band Deep Lunar Blue commemorates 120 shows as a band with a four year anniversary celebration this weekend. The rollicking band of Shane Quigley (guitar, vocals), Casey Cantrall (guitar, vocals), J.J. Moffat (drums) and Jay Bohn (bass) plays around town on a regular basis, as well as at area clubs and various festivals. A DLB set list consists of original tunes by Shane and Casey augmented with covers by famous and familiar groups such as The Beatles, Grateful Dead, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Talking Heads, Phish, Ween, Widespread Panic and Jack White. The band never repeats a set list or gives the same show twice. The dynamic and exuberant combo displays a talent for reaching for the shining stars while capturing the power of a rising moon within a musical performance of stunning emotion and compelling passion. Plans include continued performances, plus work on original material for recording, with an album release intended for later in 2013.
