Chicks with Picks

What do you get when three of the best female guitar-playing and singing songwriters in town come together on the same bill? Chicks with Picks is the correct answer. Josie Lowder, Monica Morris and Sarah Schneider man their guitars and muscle up the tunes for a night of song sharing and music making. Regardless of the various funny Facebook comments going around and the fact that there are groups of mountain-climbing women also using the moniker, Chicks with Picks fits just fine for this talented group of song-singing, guitar slinging gals. Our CwP trio of the feminine persuasion performs in the round, songwriter style, where all are on stage simultaneously, each playing a song in turn. This style of performance makes for an interesting time of themes and thoughts, allowing for song stories, intimate moments and up close listening. So don’t miss a lick, stick with your pick, get your kicks and your fix, then come hear Chicks with Picks do their shtick.
