these two books’ incredible longevity
influence popularity (even though few
read them these days and knowing them
is the mark of an educated person)
not many children read them either and
they’re not often included in the canon of
victorian lit – that’s because they don’t
fit – don’t tell me it’s the fault of disney –
you’ll note I’m not asking if you like dislike
enjoy etc the books add that in if you wish
but only if you give reasons remember the
mad hatter red queen most of the denizens
of wonderland would consider what YOU
like or dislike not worth a snap under
the nose after all WHO are YOU?
