Springfield hip-hop eminence Corn Bread is taking a break from his ongoing Los Angeles adventures to cast his verbal and sonic pearls before the Torch Tuesday Concert Series crowd tonight. Endlessly antic, inventive and irreverent, the man alternately known as Corn the Coon, Agent Double-O-Negro, and Cornfucius (depending on his mood) will appear tonight with occasional assists from Torch Tuesday Award winners Co-Pilots and the vocalist from cult weirdo-rockers Epsom.
Also at Torch Tuesday tonight, an early open mic session and sets throughout the night from D.B. Cooper, Sheezy, Alvin Trace, and Cykil. Uncanny will be hosting and music will be provided by the redoubtable DJ Yatti DNY. Doors open at 9 p.m., $3.00 cover.
