Starlings, I rather like them. They have such a
wonderful gregarious time together. I’ve watched Â
great flocks along the roadside sweep out into the Â
alfalfa stubble and pick the whole area insect clean.Â
I even like the way they walk, throwing themselves Â
from side to side a little with what appears to be
arrogance. They are really a pretty bird when
viewed close up or at a distance – their yellow Â
gaiters and beaks give them a certain elegance. Â
If any bird has arrived, it is starlings!
