Every week at Bar None, Torch Tuesday provides Springfield’s most consistent showcase for exciting local and regional hip-hop artists. The show tomorrow night ups the ante presenting two of the most prestigious and renowned performers to appear at Torch Tuesday since a one-off appearance in 2011 by Raekwon from the Wu Tang Clan.
 Ras Kass
Ras Kass released his debut solo CD in 1996 and has collaborated with many of the biggest hip-hop acts in the world, including Snoop Dogg, Coolio, Cypress Hill and various members of the aforementioned Wu Tang. Pitchfork has called him one of the best rappers of all time and about.com listed him at number 30 in its list of the “Top 50 MC’s of Our Time.” Ras Kass is currently touring the US with Ohio-based underground rapper Copywrite on the Writer’s Block tour, which is making a stop at Bar None tomorrow night.
Regular admission is $10 at the door, VIP tickets are $20 and include “pre-party, preferred seating, appetizers, drinks and a promo t-shirt from Wize Guys Promotions.
