The Springfield Art Association (SAA) is geared up to get back on the streets with the annual Paint the Street. Each registrant will receive a 6×6-foot square to paint solo or with family, co-workers, clubs or sports teams. They will also receive one paint supply bucket and a bag with filled with goodies from sponsors. Participants will paint in timeslots, either 11 a.m.-3 p.m. or 3 p.m.-7 p.m. The cost is $35 and advance registration is open through June 25. If you are feeling talented and have a great design idea, consider spending an extra $10 to enter the pro category. Since last year’s Paint the Driveway was such a hit, it’s also an option this year. The SAA will provide the painting supplies, you just supply the driveway. All proceeds benefit the operations and programming of the SAA. Admission is free.
