This inaugural, family-friendly event is a celebration of art, culture and community. It will feature more than 20 local artisans displaying their creations, musical and dance performances, children’s activities, craft areas, food and more. The event begins with a performance by the Springfield Youth Performance Group at 11 a.m. followed by a presentation by the Asian Indian Women’s Association at 11:30 a.m. Mariachi Gabriel and singer Ayelen take the stage at noon and there will be salsa dancing with Julio. The rest of the schedule includes the Springfield International Folk Dancers at 1 p.m.; Springfield Drum Circle, 2 p.m.; Salsa dancing with Jeff and Jacqueline, 3 p.m.; Koto performance by Sue Alexander, 3:30 p.m.; Express Your Seoul KPOP Dancers, 4 p.m.; and Springfield Choral Society, 4 p.m. Event presented by Springfield Cultural Arts Foundation.
