Idle Thoughts on Endless Things
I don’t know who wrote this; maybe I did?
“An eternity precedes me that goes backwardsÂ
in time FOREVER. During all that time I didn’t
know anything about anything nor miss my
non-being. Now there’s a brief span of “me” thenÂ
time will go on forever, for time is limitless in
all directions – if ‘time’ even exists. I won’t missÂ
life unless there is some sort of ‘afterlife-spirit’
which most religions predict.” Sure, it’d be nice Â
to see my folks and grands again, my daughter, Â
meet relatives I never knew, but it’s hard to believeÂ
eternity is set up that way. It would be pretty crowdedÂ
but then of course forever is limitless. Maybe there’ll
just keep being “big bangs.” We do have forever. Did Â
you write this? or, perhaps, maybe me? And why?
