The Fab Four cannot be replaced, but Beatles Tribute band American English comes darn-tooting close to bringing you the Fab Four. They take the stage at the Hoogland Center for Arts for two shows Aug. 10 and 11. Beatles and music lovers will be treated to an entirely live performance from Frank Canino as John Lennon, Eric Michaels as Paul McCartney, Danny Leavitt as George Harrison and Tom Gable as Ringo Starr. You’ll watch the group transition from the early years of Ed Sullivan, with song favorites “She Loves You,” “Twist and Shout” and “I Want To Hold Your Hand,” through The Beatles’ career, recreating the psychedelic era of Sgt. Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour on to The White Album, Let It Be and Abbey Road. You’ll love renditions of songs such as “Hey Jude” and “Let It Be.” Check out the group at www.americanenglishbeatles.com.
