With nearly 94,000 square feet of exhibitions, vendors, clinics, demonstrations and displays, the Illinois Horse Fair has been the largest all-breed horse event in the state of Illinois since 1987. Daily attractions include pony rides, rescue demonstrations, shopping and vendors, competitions, clinics and teachings from world-renowned horse trainers such as Sarah Winters Dawson and Chris Dawson of Dawson Performance Horses, Gary Lane, Smith Lilly, Curt and Polly Hagey, Brody Robertson, Marilyn Weber, plus demos, a queen pageant and much more. Don’t miss the Wooten Rodeo at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights, a popular attraction for horse enthusiasts and families. New for this year is a Miniature Rodeo featuring mini-cowboys, otherwise known as children, on miniature horses and cows.
