I hear trump visited
Our Fair City last night
convention center filled
heard people clapped
when he vowed he’d not
let syrian refugees into
the country those clappers
undoubtedly to a person
descendents of famine
wartorn immigrants he
said this in abe’s home town
how very far we’ve fallen
