SPECIAL MUSIC EVENTS | Singer-songwriter to play music Lincoln loved
Central Illinois’ own Chris Vallillo, an acclaimed singer-songwriter, will present this family-oriented program which takes listeners on a journey through the life of Abraham Lincoln via the music he loved. Part of Illinois College’s Fine Arts Series, the event “is sure to delight both adults and children of all ages.” Vallillo, who also is an educator, will include vintage instruments in this program, which covers Lincoln’s life from his birth in Kentucky in 1809 through his death in 1865. For this event, adults get in for $5 with students of all ages and children admitted free of charge.

I’m very confused. Is Chris Vallilo going to play somewhere locally or is this an announcement that this program won and IT.
