$7 Pony Shoe Week is Monday, July 12 through Sunday, July 18. Explore the amazing pony shoe dishes area chefs have created for these seven days. Many restaurants will also offer specials on Peroni Beer. To help you plan your food week travels, you can download a passport from 217foodweek.com. By downloading the passport, you will also be automatically entered to win a 217 Food Week T-shirt. Featured food week items and the seven commandments of food week can also be found on the site. Passports will also be available in the July 8 and July 15 issues of Illinois Times. The restaurants will not stamp them during this food week. Simply complete your passport with your contact information and return it to the Illinois Times office by mail or in person to 1240 S. Sixth St., Springfield, IL 62703. It can also be scanned and emailed to [email protected]. Passports are due by July 26. 217 Food Weeks generate a lot of business for the restaurants.
