UPDATED - Great Lawn Kite Festival

UPDATE:

Due to the prolonged power outage at Southwind Park, the Great Lawn Kite Festival is canceled for Saturday, July 1, but will still take place on Sunday, July 2, from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. with fireworks as the grand finale.

The inflatable water slides will not be available but in addition to the kite flying, there will be a splash pad, kids' games, candy cannons, live DJ on site (11-5) and food and merchandise for sale.

There will be portable restrooms available. No indoor building is available for restrooms or shelter.
