Steven wanted to be a psychologist since he was 8 years old and was adamant that he never wanted to retire. He was working until the day he left this earthly life on June 24, 2024.
He embodied the phrase “still waters run deep.” He was a professional listener and a selfless servant to anyone in his path. He loved his family more than anything and spent his life providing a beautiful life for them.
He enjoyed spending his time seeing live music and traveling.
Some of his favorite musicians were the Beatles, the Avett Brothers, Sierra Ferrell, Sally Fritz (his wife) and his kids Colin and Carys.
He played duets on the piano with his wife, hiked waterfalls with his daughter, and went to football and baseball games with his son.
He even made his theatrical debut in Les Miserables at the Springfield Muni in 2013, sharing the stage with his sister and daughter.
His legacy of healing reverberates through individuals, families and communities. He is dearly loved and missed.
