Barry was a special man. He would put everyone before himself. Barry would give the shirt off of his back if someone needed it, or his last dollar. He was called “Mr. Fix-It” because he could fix anything that was broken or that could be fixed. He also could build anything that you wanted him to make. If anyone’s car broke down on the side of the road he would have me pull over to help them. Barry was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, in which he served four years. Barry loved fishing with his son, Barry Jr.; his sister, Karen; sister-in-law, Jenny; and his brother, Todd. He loved woodworking, working on cars, cutting grass and loved to be outside doing something. Barry, an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, would watch any Cardinals game he could. He loved his family very much and his five grandkids. A hard-working man, he worked at One Day Cleaners. Barry always joked with people. His wife, kids and grandkids miss him so much.
