Rodney Adkins Adkins, 44, was sentenced by a Cook County judge in
August 2007 for the 2003
killing of an Oak Park woman during a
burglary.
Teodoro Baez Baez, 31, was sentenced by a Cook County judge in
March 2004 for murdering
and partially dismembering two people in a
drug dispute.
Dion Banks Banks, 46, was sentenced by a Cook County jury in May
2006 for killing a woman in
2001 in front of her two young sons during
a carjacking at a mall.
Joseph Bannister Bannister, 39, was sentenced by a Cook County jury in
May 2005 for the 2000 shooting
of an ex-girlfriend and killing of her
sister during a home invasion.
Eric Hanson Hanson, 31, was sentenced by a DuPage County jury in
February 2008 for killing his
parents, sister, and brother-in-law in
2005.
Ricardo Harris Harris, 43, was sentenced by a Cook County jury in
February 2004 for the 1999
murders of two liquor-store employees.
Laurence Lovejoy Lovejoy, 42, was sentenced by a DuPage County jury in
February 2007 for killing his
16-year-old stepdaughter in 2004.
Anthony Mertz Mertz, 32, was sentenced by a Coles County jury in
February 2003 for the June 2001 murder of a fellow Eastern Illinois
University student.
Brian Nelson Nelson, 25, was sentenced by a Will County jury in
October 2006 for killing his
19-year-old girlfriend, her brother, her
father, and her father’s girlfriend in 2002.
Gary Pate Pate, 38, was sentenced by a White County jury in
March 2008 for the 2006 murder
of his estranged wife and her daughter.
Daniel Ramsey Ramsey, 30, was sentenced by a Hancock County jury in
May 2007 for a 1996 shooting spree in which he killed two young girls and
wounded his ex-girlfriend and two toddlers.
Paul Runge Runge, 38, a confessed serial killer, was sentenced
by a Cook County jury in February 2006 for the 1997 rape and murder of a
Chicago woman and her 10-year-old daughter.
Cecil Sutherland Sutherland, 52, was sentenced by a St. Clair County
jury in June 2004 for the 1987 abduction, rape, and murder of a
10-year-old.
Curtis Thompson Thompson, 66, was sentenced by a Stark County judge
in August 2003 for killing a sheriff’s deputy and couple in 2002.
Andrew Urdiales Urdiales, 43, was sentenced by a Livingston County
jury in May 2004 for the 1996
murder of a 21-year-old woman from
Hammond, Ind.
