When they say “you’re not bragging if it’s a fact,” those “theys” could be talking about The Pine Mountain Logs, who claim to be “The World’s Best Cover Band with International Fame in Global Proportions” and actually, in several valid opinions, most likely are. Existing as the alter ego of the original music band Venice, TPML takes the sweet Venice sound of incomparable harmonies and instrumental prowess and applies that gift to cool covers to create the aforementioned “world’s best cover band” and do it up right. With brothers Mark Lennon (vocals) and Michael Lennon (guitars) and their cousin Kipp Lennon (vocals), along with Mark Harris (bass), Dann Gillen (drums) and Chris Horvath (keys, guitar) in tow, off they go to produce stunning versions of familiar songs. Expect Led Zeppelin, the Jackson Five, The Police, Tom Petty and Earth, Wind and Fire, just to name some of the classic artists represented in this seriously serious performance at an astounding level of professionalism, all geared toward all-out fun in the California sun.
