Back in January of 2014 plans were made to develop a band capable of knocking out current and popular radio dance hits live, without tracks. Band founder Pete Jeffers (drums) was joined by Ed Boyd (keys), Tony Dyer (guitar), Preston Searl (bass), Liz Christofilakos (lead vocals), Ashley Reilly (lead vocals) and Billy Cooper (MC/vocals) to complete a group ready to play the songs with a big production style in order to create a concert feel at every venue. The exceptional musicianship provided by this stellar list of players backing the unusual combination of two female lead vocalists makes playing the high-tech, modern hits a sound to enjoy and a sight to behold, covering hits of the day from the likes of Katy Perry, Jason Derulo, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande and other big name Top 40 pop stars. The plan must be working, as now the group has over 1,900 followers on their band page and a Coors Light sponsorship while consistently bringing a high energy show to supportive, excited crowds wherever The Mix takes the stage.
