Here comes a new band featuring several familiar area musicians including Brian Reilly (guitar and vocals), John Reilly (vocals), Mike Taft (lead guitar), Charlie Barnes (bass), Pat Miller (drums), and Rory Davis (assorted instruments). The band member pedigree includes associations with the Damwell Betters, Mugshot, Thunderbeast, From the Attic, Reel Channel Cats, Lazer Dudes and the Last Vegas, with the new combination sound described as Radiohead meets Drive-By Truckers. Telegraph 3am actually debuted last November playing several interesting cover tunes, but decided to back off on the live performance to concentrate on original songs. Now the boys are back in town with self-penned tunes like Southern Indecision, Heaven Only Knows and a dozen others. They still keep the provocative covers going with songs by Wilco, the Black Crowes and INXS in the set list. Plans are to start recording studio work within the month and keep up the live shows, all while continuing down the righteous and rocking path of an original music band.
