Best friends since 2003, young producer/musicians Matt Madonna and Ryan Anderson come from the Reno / Tahoe area. After years of producing sounds, the duo got serious about making music together in April of 2010 and collaborated to create Love and Light. Intent on the “uplifting of people across the world through melodic synth lines, complex chord structure, intricate rhythms and funky, chunky bass lines,” Matt and Ryan take this mission seriously and creatively. A recent remix of the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Can’t Stop on Soundcloud.com scored more than 20,000 plays in under five days and L & L count more than a half a million hits on their music listening page. Part DJ and part musician, the twosome keep “a strong focus on mid-tempo bass music” and dabble into “melodic dub-step, as well as half-time drum and bass” and aren’t afraid to bring on the old “four-on-the-floor bangers” all for the betterment of humankind and a decent dance party. Currently touring the country, the Simplify recording artists plan on playing summer music festivals and gaining international exposure in 2011.
