King Neptune Blues

He applied his years of studies of the classics to arranging and learning the blues masters of the early twentieth century. From there, he spent hours and days and years and decades working his way into the mysterious and captivating world of this powerful era of the blues. Accompanying himself on guitar with old-style fingerpicking while explaining songs and technique along the way, King Neptune lives and breathes these heartfelt renditions and arrangements of Piedmont blues and Bessie Smith songs. He’s spent a lifetime playing, singing, teaching and touring, finding himself in and out of bands and combos but always into the music. Now settled somewhere near central Illinois, the intrepid entertainer continues his adventure with old-time, acoustic guitar and vocal blues, making folks feel good and feeling good himself while doing the deed. Feel free to ask the man how he got the name of King Neptune; you’ll be glad you did.
