Family-owned and operated, Skateland South roller rink has been serving up fun and excitement since 1972. Skateland North, which opened a few years later, has been closed since 2009, but the original is still going strong. Located at 1500 Recreation Drive in Springfield, Skateland hosts family get-togethers, school events, fundraisers, parties and so much more.
When hosting your special event, Skateland offers all sorts of affordable party packages. A “fun” party package gets you admission, skate rental, unlimited soft drinks and glowsticks, or you can upgrade to “deluxe” or “extreme” if you want extras such as pizza, arcade game cards or cotton candy.
You also have the option to book a private party, giving you access to the entire Skateland venue rather than sharing the space with several parties. This makes Skateland a great choice for more intimate gatherings, or for a community event such as a school fundraiser or a company outing. You could even choose to host a holiday event at Skateland this winter.
If you want to skate outside of an organized event, Skateland has group lessons for all sorts of skaters – beginner through advanced. Skateland also hosts open skate times, adult skate times, toddler Saturdays and more.
