Located in The Gables, Pease’s at Bunn Gourmet is an elegant west-side eatery offering tasty treats, comfy seats and a variety of hand-crafted confections.
Just walking in the door is to encounter a smorgasbord of options for your sweet tooth, including decadent cakes, flavorful cheesecakes, a variety of ice cream flavors and the not-to-be-missed towering wall of candy. Guests can pair their favorite dessert with a gourmet coffee or a glass of wine and relax inside the warm and welcoming shop. Or they can also venture into the courtyard for outdoor dining and sipping, although patrons might encounter a curious finch or two, patiently waiting for a dropped crumb.
And while it’s best known for its desserts, Peases at Bunn Gourmet offers a full menu of breakfast and lunch items, from quiche and omelets to gourmet grilled cheese and a chipotle black bean burger, plus plenty of soups and salads. There’s also live music on the weekends, encouraging customers to sip, snack and linger.
Launched more than a decade ago, Pease’s at Bunn Gourmet continues as a successful collaboration between two long-established businesses into a popular retail shop. Consistently a winner or finalist in the Best of Springfield, Pease’s at Bunn Gourmet is sure to continue as a popular local favorite.
