The Third House: State Lobbying EssentialsOn Friday, join the University of Illinois Springfield’s Institute for Legal, Legislative and Policy Studies for a seminar on how to effectively lobby the Illinois General Assembly. The program will impart information and tips relating to practical lobbying skills and resources, strategies and tactics, state budget insights and information, as well as winning efforts from experienced/successful lobbyists and senior administration officials. This program is geared towards current and prospective lobbyists, liaisons, media representatives, state and local government officials, students and employees, but is open to all who register. The $300 registration fee covers all instruction and materials plus a light breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack.
