We were loaned a lovely temporarily vacant
home for our stay out west, but we addlepated
adults had forgotten to retain the key, so we were
locked out. Rather than break a door or a double-
glazed picture window we tried this solution: we
sent our three-year-old, well instructed, crawling
through the cat hole. We watched as he emerged,
found his way to a door and let us in. Â Never
underestimate the ability of a toddler nor the
stupidity and ingenuity of adults.
