All my life I’ve wanted someone to
care about me, someone to understand.
I never realized until lately that the most
obvious person to do this and the most
important is myself! I am the only
person who can truly know my thoughts,
actions, and intentions. This makes me
the logical one to understand myself at
the many stages of my life. That’s why
it is important to turn the light on reality
and the present, grant myself some slack
and some compassion. I am not an angel
I am not shameless – but I have worth and
a great deal going for me that only I know.
So perhaps today I will say “Hooray for me!”
