Area music lovers once again have a chance to experience some incredible talent in an intimate venue while helping a local nonprofit. On Dec. 21, hear world-renowned tenor Emmanuel di Villarosa perform famous arias and Christmas classics. Di Villarosa, a native of New York, moved to Springfield in 2021 after many years of performing in Europe. During his career, he has performed in principal roles including that of Don José in Carmen, Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly and Rodolfo in La Bohème. The upcoming event will benefit the Family Service Center’s Tree of Wishes. Advance tickets are not required, but seating is limited. Tickets are $30 online at http://bit.ly/3Z7RSkI or $35 at the door. Formal attire is encouraged. The chapel is adjacent to the music conservatory and Brinkerhoff Mansion. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
