Chef Chip Kennedy from 5Flavors demonstrates holiday-inspired cooking at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. The Holiday Farmers’ Market features food and products raised, made or grown right here in Illinois that you acquire from the farmer or grower you meet face-to-face. Your purchase supports their livelihood and in turn you get fresh, yummy, healthy, environmentally friendlier goods — they did not travel across the country, which means less gas for one thing.
