Enjoy an evening of three original, never-before-seen one-act plays produced by two local playwrights from the Central Illinois Amateur Playwrights organization. One-act plays are short scenes that offer the audience a glimpse into what would normally be a longer performance. The three contemporary plays are Coffee and Conversation by Jenny Loftus, Letters to Myself by Nicky Barton and Absence Makes the Heart by Jenny Loftus. Admission is $10 and seats are available on a first-come, first served basis. The doors and bar open at 7 p.m., and the show begins at 8 p.m. A question-and-answer session with writers and directors will occur at 9:30 p.m., followed by cocktails and mingling.
