Celebrate the 200th birthday of Illinois with themed crafts and activities that teach children about the prairie state and its state symbols, such as plants, animals and food. Super Saturday events are hosted by the Illinois State Museum on the first Saturday of each month. All Super Saturday activities are geared towards children ages 5 and up and their families, and take approximately 30-40 minutes to complete. Super Saturday activities are always free with museum admission, which is $5 for adults ages 9-64, and free to ISM members, youth, seniors, military and veterans.
