On Friday, April 6, from 5-7 p.m., join Illinois Times for a gallery reception honoring the winners of the 2018 Capital City Visitor cover art contest. The reception is your opportunity to view this year’s submissions, congratulate contest winners, enjoy light appetizers and refreshments, and take home your complimentary copy of the 2018 Capital City Visitor guide to Springfield. The cover art show will be on display at Springfield Art Association from April 5-7, featuring artworks showcasing historical representations of Abraham Lincoln. Both the reception and the gallery exhibition are free to the public.
