This two-day, outdoor blues music festival offers something for everyone, from awesome blues tunes to mouthwatering barbecue delights such as ribs, pulled pork, brisket, wings and more. A dozen food vendors will be present. Don’t forget the craft brews and other thirst-quenching drinks to beat the heat. This year is the event’s 19th, and organizer Barry Friedman is excited about the lineup. “This is probably the best blues lineup we’ve had. These guys are great,” said Friedman, owner of The Alamo, noting the mix of local and touring acts. Both nights’ headliners, Albert Castiglia and Selwyn Birchwood, are multi-nominated artists. Birchwood, with his album Exorcist, has been on top of the blues charts lately. Castiglia has topped the charts recently, too. Friday night’s lineup consists of The MJ Curry Band at 5:30 p.m., Gabe Stillman at 7 p.m. and Castiglia at 9 p.m. On Saturday, Chris Camp and His Blues Ambassadors take the stage at 3 p.m., the Soul Experience Band with Reggie Britton follows at 5 p.m. Chris O’Leary Band at 7 p.m. and Birchwood at 9 p.m. Food and beverage costs are separate from the entry fee.
