An Evening of Cultural Experience

On Saturday, Nov. 15, from 5-7 p.m., join Africans in Central Illinois and Grace United Methodist church for a night of African culture, fun and support of a worthy cause, the Doctors Without Borders Ebola Fund. Take in an African fashion show, bid on authentic African artifacts via silent auction, taste African-style hors d’oeuvres and enjoy spirited performances by the African Ensemble of Central Illinois and the African Dance Troupe from Illinois State University. All monies generated from this event will be donated to the Doctors Without Borders Ebola Fund to help treat and stop the spread of Ebola in the West African countries of Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea. For more information about An Evening of Cultural Experience and the Doctors Without Borders Ebola Fund, contact Veronica at 553-5556.
