Springfield’s Thao Le ventured out to Three Sisters
Park in Chillicothe this weekend to the 311 concert. Formed
in the ’90s, the five-member alternative rock band is wrapping up their summer tour. Le reports that “the
show was amazing. From the stunning light production to the lively instrumental
solos, 311 knows how to entertain. New and long-time fans alike enjoyed songs
from their new album Stereolithic, as
well as classics like “Come Original” and “Creatures.”” An aspiring concert
photographer, Le captured some of the evening’s moments. We share with you her
photo recap.

Le is a freelance music
photographer and long-time resident of Springfield.
After getting her degree in Computer Science from UIS and working an office job
for three and a half years, she decided to leave her practical career and
follow her passion for the arts.
