there’s still something to be said for mendelssohn and his ilk when you get on a plane or when you’re folding your tray table and returning your seat to an upright position does the sound system play rock? rap? reggae? no, it plays the three b’s, sometimes m, or the two h’s — hayden and handel —
but mostly it plays vivaldi and mostly it’s vivaldi’s seasons our cows used to give more milk while listening to the classics though not the 1812 overture or the whooping fury of the valkyrs maybe cows still do somehow it gives hope that mozart will outlive mnm
