down Turtle Creek; “Perhaps
the high point of my grandkids’
visit was a canoe trip down Turtle
Creek from the Shopiere Dam to
Colley Road. The banks enclosed
us, we were in another world. Turtles,
Carp, Little Green Heron, Great Blue
Heron, Kingfishers, Cedar Wax Wings,
and Ducks galore – a wilderness area
at our door!”
