Formed in 2010 from various musicians touring the same rock-band circuit, Modern Superstar features members from Chicago, Ohio, Florida, Kentucky and right here in Springfield. No strangers to touring hard, these bandmates have shared the stage with rock ‘n’ roll icons such as Queensryche, Whitesnake, Tesla, KIX, Bret Michaels, Kip Winger, L.A. Guns and The Misfits. The hard-rocking quintet of Ashton Blake (vocals), Ryche Green (drums), Lorenzo “ZO” DelVecchio (guitar), Micky Shomidie (bass) and Michael Anspach (guitars) just went to New York City and recorded a new single, then spent three days of shooting footage for the upcoming video, and currently are hanging in Springfield writing songs for album number two, to be released later this year. In the midst of all this commotion motion, the band booked several dates around the Midwest. Come expecting a rock concert, because you get the lights and leather, the sound and the energy, the intensity and electricity of rock done right as the band prepares to conquer the world one stage at a time.
