Linda Keldermans
died peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 2,
2025.
Linda was the daughter
of Ross Thomas
and Marilyn Wright Thomas. She was born on Dec. 19, 1949.
Linda was especially close to her grandmother, Nina Wright, and to Monsignor Patrick Wright, who was her
uncle and godfather. Linda graduated from Sacred Heart Academy and attended DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.
She graduated from University of Illinois with a B.A. and an M.A. in English literature
and a second M.A. in library science.
Linda married the love of her life, Karl, in 1969.
She was fluent in Flemish and French and edited a number of doctoral
dissertations. Linda was employed for
many years at SIU School of Medicine where she worked in medical ethics and
helped write numerous manuals used by
surgery, medical ethics and psychiatry. In
her younger years she was active in the theater, notably the Springfield Muni
Opera where she was Molly Brown in The Unsinkable Molly Brown.

2025, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at
